ANOMALITH Artifacts: What They Do and What’s Known
Artifacts in ANOMALITH are stat-boosting gear pulled from Anomaly Zones. How they fit with skills, gun attachments and nine-part outfits.

Table of Contents
Artifacts in ANOMALITH are equipment Reona brings back from an Anomaly Zone and wears at base to raise her stats. That is the whole of what the game's own store listings say about them. No artifact names, stat values, slot rules or drop locations have been published, so a tidy numbered artifact table would be invention rather than information. What follows is the documented system, the numbers that are actually printed, and the one description that conflicts with the rest.
What the store listings describe
The Steam page and the PlayStation Store listing for the Digital Deluxe Edition split Reona's kit into a few separate systems. Artifacts are only one of them, and they are the one with the least detail attached.
| Piece | Documented role |
|---|---|
| Artifacts | Picked up inside Anomaly Zones, then equipped to lift stats |
| Firearm attachments | Tune individual guns toward different combat styles |
| Anomalization Skills | Twelve powers, offensive and defensive, used to steer a fight |
| Outfits / gear | Nine separate parts; each costume carries its own stat effect |
| Dive Reports | Unlocked by defeating Anomalies; describe their ecology |
| Anomalous Objects | Materials used to develop and upgrade weapons and gear |
Two details are easy to miss. First, appearance and stats are deliberately decoupled for outfits — you can change how Reona looks without touching her numbers. Second, the base is explicitly the place where you equip and prepare between Dives; the store text never names a menu or screen inside it.

Numbers that are actually published
- 12 — Anomalization Skills available to Reona.
- 9 — parts into which her gear is divided.
- 300+ — customizable outfit items spread across those nine parts, as reported in GoNintendo's write-up of the gameplay trailer.
- 200+ — investigation reports on Anomalies and other objects, from the same write-up.
- 3 — extra weapons in the Digital Deluxe set: a Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle, a Double-Barreled Shotgun and a Prototype Handgun.
The bonus sets also name a handful of consumables, which is as close as anything gets to a concrete item list. The Digital Deluxe "Anomaly Zone Countermeasures Office Set" includes 3 × Sedative (Medium), 3,000 OV, ammo in three calibres and a Shooting Chip [Power +]. The early-purchase development materials set contains 2 Linked Tiles, 2 Advanced Surreal Firearm Parts and 2 Warning Pagers. None of these listings explains what the items do in play — the chip's name points at an attack stat, but that is a reading of the label, not a stated effect.
Where artifacts sit in the run
The loop is Dive, Retrieve, Return. While you are inside a Zone, ammunition is scarce enough that what you carry out is a choice, and the Steam copy frames retrieval as something to select carefully on the way to extraction. Items you extract with go back to base and become usable there. Artifacts are the part of that haul that changes Reona's numbers rather than her ammunition or her wardrobe.
So the practical order is: find an artifact during a Dive, get it to extraction, then equip it at base before the next run. How many you can carry, whether there are slots, and whether duplicates stack are all undocumented.

The description that doesn't match
GoNintendo's June 2026 trailer piece describes artifacts quite differently: they "dole out good (or bad luck)" and infuse weapons with extra abilities. The same article describes a "Demi-Humanization System" for active and passive abilities taken from Anomalies, a ten-year sleep inside something called a "Sarcophagus", and a "Danger Zone Countermeasures Office" — terminology that appears nowhere on the Steam or PlayStation listings, which use Anomalization Skills and the Anomaly Zone Countermeasures Office instead.
Which phrasing reflects the shipping build is not settled by either page. Treat the luck-based artifact behaviour as an unconfirmed pre-release description until you can see it in your own copy, and treat the stat-boost framing as the better-attested one, since it appears in publisher copy on two storefronts.
Why there is no artifact list here
According to anomalith.wiki's skills and artifacts page, a community effort to track the system, the public material checked as of 15 September 2026 does not contain a complete English catalogue of skill or artifact names, effects, values, unlock requirements or locations. That matches what the storefronts show. Anyone publishing a filled-in artifact table today is either datamining without saying so or guessing.
Platform and timing notes
Each storefront lists its own release details, and they differ. The Steam page lists Windows with a release of 28 October 2026 and offers a demo download. The PlayStation Store listing is for PS5, dated 26 October 2026, with 48-hour early access included in the Digital Deluxe Edition. GoNintendo reports a Switch 2 release on 29 October 2026 at $49.99 standard and $69.99 deluxe. None of these pages says anything about artifact behaviour varying between them.
One caution if you are forming impressions from the demo: the Steam announcement feed records a 29 September 2026 demo update that "adjusted various numerical values" and a 7 October 2026 update that unlocks development of an Armed Schoolgirl outfit set after clearing the demo. Demo-era numbers are therefore a moving target.
If something looks off
There is no documented troubleshooting sequence for artifacts, because there are no documented slot rules to check against. A generic PC step such as relaunching the demo or verifying files through Steam is harmless to try, but nothing in the published material presents it as a fix for equipment behaviour. If an artifact's effect seems absent, the honest position is that the game has not told players what to expect.
